Welcome to the Berrien County Association of Churches (BCAC) website. The Berrien County Association of Churches (BCAC) is a voluntary ecumenical association of churches (congregations) in Berrien County, united to accomplish ministries which can best be done in a cooperative manner. The Association is an independent agency, responsible only to the member churches. It has no official affiliation with any other ecumenical organization at the state, national or international level.
The By-laws list seven purposes for the Association, the essence of which is this statement: “To extend the ministry of local churches by doing cooperatively ministries which are too large for a congregation or individual to undertake.”
The Berrien County Association of Churches (BCAC) works on behalf of all the Christian churches of Berrien County to promote joint ministries which individual congregations may not be able to sustain. While not wanting to blur denominational distinctions, BCAC sponsors cooperative dialogue and understanding in Southwest Michigan.
